too tired
11:33 PMC'mon now. How cute is Henrique Hilario? Too cute to be a Chelsea player. LOL. If we ever have an opening down at Anfield, I'll make sure someone gives you a call *wink*
Batu Caves was awesome as usual. We left Shah Alam KTM station by 9AM and when we reached Sentul, we were stunned to find out that the special station to BC was only open the day after. Go figure. So with that, we caught a cab down to the caves. It wasn't as crowded as I imagined but I was very grateful for that. It was still early on in the day (friday) and small amounts of people were already getting into the Thaipusam vibe. We took pictures and walked down to Gombak River and managed to catch a small crowd of people who were in a trance. There was one particular guy in the group who stood out to me the most because he looked oddly familiar. I still can't put a finger on it but I'm sure I've seen him before. Then we followed them down to the caves again (can I say it was a little awkward being the only Chinese kid in the procession haha. But it's all good. I be goin back to my yeendian roots yo ;P

Then we took a bus from BC to Central Market. By now it was afternoon and the sun wasn't kind to us. Sweat poured down my cheeks and I mostly dressed in black. Obviously. Then we walked to the Pasar Seni LRT station and went back to KL central and then on another train and back home. I might be consider calling it Public Transport Day because I can't think of any other mode of city transport (aside from beca haha) that we didn't take that day.
So concludes Alison's summarised version of her first Thaipusam at Batu Caves :)
Why do we play Portsmouth at 1.35AM? It's insane. I haven't had sleep for 3 nights in a row now. Shite.
