Waltzing Matilda

It's been ... about 3 weeks since I got home from Australia. Haven't really found the time (and patience) to sit down and talk about it.
Melbourne is still Melbourne. Nothing much has changed since I went there last (2007 or 2008). Only difference now is that I'm here alone (well, with Anne) and things are more on my own time than anything else. No more cross stitch shops with mum. Just me, my tram ticket and Melbourne City just waiting to be discovered.
Finally get to use my dress // RMIT! I've found you!
Checking out the Dandenongs.
Still finding time to make fun of my bhais // river races in the mornings.
Ah well, I'll miss it. I really enjoyed coming home too (due to certain circumstances) but I still miss it. Walking through the city, learning the streets, walking to Rod Lavers when we're supposed to be going to Southbank ... walking to Vic Market, taking the tram to St.Kildas, driving up to the Danendongs, swimming in Auntie Bab's pool ... then getting tipsy after with too much wine, shopping at Knox and Doncaster (well that was dull actually), Camberwell Market ... and all the little cafes (especially the one we stopped at in Swanston St.) we ate at. Op shopping. My purchases this time around mainly revolved around items of clothing. 3 pairs of shoes (YES), many tops as well as bottoms and dresses. Hee.
All thanks to Auntie Julie an Uncle Lars. Really. This trip was brilliant because of their hospitality.
As for my job experience, I love Tarbush I really do, but I realise now that that love is only extended to as far as a PATRON is concerned. LOL. I'm leaving in 4 days because it really is too difficult for me. I'm not making a lot of mistakes, I just don't know how to get into the routine. I've made tonnes of friends there and even (if I may say) developed a crush on one of them. LOL. Nonetheless, it was a GREAT experience but I think my time spent there will be at a table ... actually sitting down and enjoying the location for not more than 2 hours at a time. LOL.
But we'll see what happens. Making new friends is always a brilliant thing. Getting paid at the same time isn't that bad either. lol.
