khafesho!

These two boys, are really just the best friends a person could ask for. They're not cocky, selfish, backstabbing or judgemental.

I've been friends with Farid (the one in black) for a good half a decade now and every time we get into a fight, it used to be intense. We'd not talk for weeks and sometimes months. Then after a while, one of us would try to re-establish the connection. A small hello would then continue onto a full fledged conversation which lasts for hours. We've both gone through some massive bad times in our years as friends in our lives. We still see each other alone sometimes just to talk and be honest about how we feel about life and how it's affected us in our individual journeys. A little bit childish and fun loving with such a good sense of humour, he doesn't ever get boring. I can see him day in and out and there's always something new to talk about.

Mahdiar is someone I met a year after Farid. He was known as the health and fitness guru of university. People would sit with him just talk about "how do I look like you? How do I get this body?" and he'd always have the answers for your questions. What you don't see in these pictures is that Mahdiar always has a smile on his face. He's beyond friendly and has such amazing stories about his life to tell from his childhood being overshadowed by a aggressive brother to a young life alone in India when his father sent him off to live. He seems shy at first but once you get to know him, he always has something to say and is knowledgeable about what he does and does it well. Best thing about Mahdiar is that he doesn't take anything to heart. He just laughs, smiles and jokes right back at you.

Love these two :P
