Dad mentioned Liverpool playing this Sunday. I cannot believe how long it's been since I watched a whole football game (excl. Singapore) on TV. But I have to admit, the holidays/off season period I've sort of lost the interest in football ever so slightly. I don't hate the sport any less of course but it's like, that passion has semi burnt out. So, hopefully come Sunday I'll revert back after watching LFC's first game back. It's gonna be so weird without Xabi around now :(

Haven't done anything productive since uni started and that's gonna reflect on how much ass kicking I need. I'm gonna start working on them assignments on Saturday. Promise. I can already hear a group of people laughing behind me and in my head.

I'll be trying out for an internship in Dubai at the end of the year. Thanks to Kazi who's working at a British magazine company specialising in Advertising. He extended me and Kinna an offer to go with him. He also is staying at a place there with the rent being 70% off! So we're looking into living expenses while in Dubai. Mum and Dad gave me the green light too. If it all works out, I'll be working there from Dec - Jan/Feb. ZOMG Dubai.

Shall have dinner with the amigos then go for an evening jog and then come home and pass out. ciao. Hope everyone's enjoying their TGIFs.

And so it is

Now what can be more amusing than that? Really.
I miss footie. A lot. When the hell are Liverpool gonna get here? (rhetorical cause I do know). I haven't been keeping up with any transfer news besides the fact that Kaka and C.Ronaldo are now both Madrid players. I guess someone up there's trying to resurrect the Galactico era?

Not to mention numerous articles saying Xabi's going to Barcelona, Real, Man City, Arsenal, (insert some random club here) and Rafa continuing to tell people that we're not selling him and he's completely happy at Anfield amuses me. The manager has already stated we're not interested and these articles still pop outta nowhere. Plus he's got an ass for a manager (Ibanez) who talked to Rafa about Xabi's transfer details when he's PERFECTLY happy at Liverpool. Don't know why Xabi won't fire him. He's gotta be a family friend of something.

Season 09/10 start now already.

Oh well. In the end, tak dapat menang BPL 08/09. That's alright though. We're still broken some records this season and that's pretty fantastic too. We're not that far behind in points as we've been in years past aaaand, I got to see angry!Xabi last night against WBA. Next match will be against the Spurs. How we lost to them when they were at the bottom of the table, I'll never understand.

Anyway, time to move on and save up cash to see my boys in Red when they come down to Singapore on the 26th of July. Hopefully I'll be "loaded" enough by then to afford a place there. XT's done a real great favour by booking tickets for us so when I get there all I gotta do is pass the money to her :)

Damn you boys, we'd better sign some quality (or in Rafa's case: "Kwaliteee") players this summer D:

I just know it

The guy who's flipping Barton off made my day :D You don't tackle Xabi Alonso and not get sent off. LOL, and that's a good thing. Hope Xabi's alright though. Only a few more games. Hang in there :(

But guess who else was at the match?

Sun, sand, salty water, inside jokes and a whole lotta pillows.

As I am way too tired to describe every leg of this journey/vacation. I shall just leave you with pictures for now and I'll talk about the trip in the next post/whenever I feel like it. I haven't gotten enough sleep as you can imagine and gotta wake up at 2.40AM for Liverpool's return game with Chelsea (fingers madly crossed) so I might be a little cranky if the result doesn't go our way obviously.

Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. I took a risk by traveling with some people I had only met less than 24 hours ago and we get along perfectly fine. Pillow fights and all.

Job almost done

Oh, good to be a Liverpool fan.
I can actually say we played well. Not "the other team were crap and we were slightly better." Nah, we're actually playing a whole lot better.
Woke up this morning trying to remember what the hell happened last night because it felt like a black out. :D Smile on my face as I remembered. International break. Why?

Paul BLARTARTARTART!

Went shopping with the family at Summit USJ today and what do people usually get when they go to Summit? DVD's ... of course.

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/6422/movielist.jpg

These movies were bought (some against my will) and one more which was a Donnie Yen movie was completely in Chinese so I couldn't find the poster for it. failpotato. Just so people know, my choices were : Paul Blart / Tropic Thunder / Underworld.

Then we headed to Popular Bookstore which was having a sale. Like stock clearance prices. 90% for members. I've seen women claw at each other at the malls/boutiques in movies and this was exactly it. Mothers and their young sons pushing through crowds to get that last copy of (insert random Chinese storybook here) and teens grabbing at Harry Potter / Football books / Design and cookbooks while the fathers and boyfriends went insane at the DVD section. I had a few books in my arms (lofts, dream apartments, Terry Goodkind's Chainfire, random PageOne books) but ended up just getting one.

http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/2346/200pxchainfire.jpg Original price: 89.90 / Discount price: 90%. You do the math.

Sadly, I haven't read the previous 8 books (lmao) so I'm awfully ahead with this book. I'll have to go look again tomorrow or Monday hoping to find the previous books. Another failpotato

Then I thought about something. Not that it's important but I've just always pondered: Is Hans Isaac (local actor) an Indian dude with what we call Francis Light/Vasco de Gama Syndrome? So I looked him up and it says "Gerald Hans Isaac or more popularly known as Hans Isaac is a Malaysian actor, producer, director and a former model. He is of Indian, Filipino, Spanish and Eurasian parentage, his mother is of Filipino and Spanish descent and his father is Indian Malaysian." So I guess he can actually talk the talk lol. And there's my question answered. :D (used to have a small crush on him too before he got ... crappy D:)

ANYWAY, everyone's so excited about tonight's game. I've been chatting with more Manc fans than Kopites sadly so I'm pretty well bashed up already and they game hasn't even started. haha. Some were nice enough to "wish" me luck haha. If we come off with a win tonight, I'll have so much more to say to them tomorrow >=D So yes. Here's to hoping.
