so won't you stay?

DOMOKUN SAYS RAWRZ~!

I don't think I have the heart to stay up all night to catch Liverpool / Real Madrid at 3AM. It's insane and this is why I shall forever hate the European timezone. This better be worth it or I'll one pissed off fan by 8AM when I leave for class. Please let he who is Steven Gerrard be fit for tonight's game.

Uni has been good to me so far. I've missed today's lesson in hopes I can catch it on Friday as it's also the same lesson. I don't think leaving for uni at 4PM is worth the drive from Shah Alam. I'll feel so lethargic while I'm at it too D:

Met some old friends and old faces since I've been back and it's such a relief. I think I was beginning to rot towards the end of the holidays. However I have been given tasks by people who aren't lecturers that I am less than happy about. I shan't elaborate further but will just say "I ain't your servant boy -girl so please stop making me do favours cause it kinda gets old". Mum isn't too pleased about it either but I will do what I can for now and hopefully it will stop after this week. I'm only being a good friend by obliging ... for now.

I still crave for that feeling of driving to uni alone in the mornings. Early when the sun hasn't fully risen. Just enough to take in the cloud formations and feel the early morning breeze (can save on air con also :D). Listening to whatever music I choose to (only it's really limited these days cause Aroon stole half my CD collection) and just chill all the way to uni. It really calms me down and that's probably what I look forward to the most when I wake up. Knowing I get alone time on the open road after all the traffic lights and jams. Just me, my music and my thoughts.

grab a couple more. come meet me in the middle of the floor.

If you enjoyed your sec school years, you'll do it. (i hated them, can i still do it?)

If you have nothing else to do, you'll do it.
If you're here to read the questions/answers and pretend to hate to do it, deep down you'll still do it. (sounds good to me :D)

1) Which school did you go to?
SMK Taman Sri Muda

2) What classes were you in?
1,3,5 Cerdas / 2,4 Bestari

BEST CLASS EVERZZZZZ <3
I think form 5 might have been the better year because I knew school was OUT.

3) What was/were your favourite lesson(s)?
Usually English cause the teachers would let me sleep and cut me some slack knowing I wasn't bad at it (cept in form 5 I guess cause everyone was a hardass then) and BM with Pn. Azlina in form 2. Oh yeah, and Ad math in form 2 with Pn. Zakiah cause no other teacher has ever ignored me so much in my life. You can tell I'm being sarcastic can you?

4) Can you remember what time your recess was?
Afternoon sessions: 4pm ish? and Morning: 10am ish

5) List your favourite food/snacks.
Keropok Lekor >=D because I was too poor for anything else. And if I was lucky, asam boi ice lollies.

Style
1) Did you have a nickname way back in high school?
Meh, too many. Mostly insulting ones. :D I think Al stuck though.

2) How did you wear your socks?
Damn, until I was in form 4, I wore em up high. Like everyone else had them real low down to their ankles and I felt like a dork.

3) Have you been suspended due to the way you put on your uniform?
Nope. I've been told off numerous times though.

4) Were you given plenty of reminders about your appearance?
Hells yeah. Hair untied, too many tie pins, shoes too black, face too ugly. Kidding about that last one.

5) Who did you look up to when you were in high school?
Everyone -cause I was too short. LOL. I didn't really have someone to 'look' up to cause they were all assholes/ignorant.

Punishment
1) Name one memorable scene where you were punished in front of the whole class.
I was yelled at by a teacher in front of everyone as you would probably imagine. It wasn't horrible but for the moment it was embarrassing as crap.

2) How many times did you skip class? What were you doing?
I feel like I skipped my entire form 2. There would be weeks I simply refused to turn up. With permission though *winks*

3) Give one scene where you escaped from being caught/punished.
lol walked out of school with some friends and went back home when i wasn't supposed to :D

4) Did you vandalize any school property?
Not that I can recall.

5) Did you ever make any teacher cry?
Not me personally. But i've seen classes who have.

Teachers
1) Who was your favourite teacher?
Probably Pn. Azlina and Pn. Anne. They were the only MOST civilised ones in school.

2) Describe your DM.
loud and scary :D

3) Who was the funniest/weirdest/loudest teacher?
Pn Azlina. HANDS DOWN.

Social Circle
1) Were you popular back then?
Hellsno. I was in the circle of "popular" kids but not ONE of them if you get my meaning.

2) Were you in a big group of boys/girls or small ones?
pretty large I guess.

3) Who were your best friends?
- this topic in high school is just ridiculous.

4) Did you and your friends have nicknames?
Who didn't? :D three of us were establised as muffin/pumpkin and fairy godmother :D and then some ...

5) What were your favourite memories of you and your friends?
Making fun of the teachers, chilling whenever we had the chance, practising for school events, hanging out in Maccas nearby (which is now shut down) ...

Co-curricular Activities
1) What CCAs were you in?
Interact Club, Kadet Remaja Sekolah, Badminton club

2) What did you have to bring to your CCA?
nothing much. just money lol.

3) What did your CCA require you to do?
march, edit banners/fliers/adverts, sit there and rot.

4) Got injured?
Not much

Crushes/Lovers
1) Who was your first crush?
In high school? LMAO. It was a guy who I met in my first year which ended up as one of my closest friends.

2) Are you on good terms with your last crush?
*thinks* I don't think we're even in CONTACT. Not like I haven't tried :D

3) Did you ever have a relationship with anyone in your secondary school?
No. It was too messed up.

4) Have you ever made out in school?
Hellsno.

Closing Ceremony
1) How did high school change you?
It made me a really angry/emo/pessimistic/faithless person :D
Which I guess is a great thing because now I'm so much more happier in university. I appreciate things more

2) Sing one verse of your school song.
Sekolah Menengah Taman Sri Muda
Yang kita bangga bersama ... bullshite

3) What was your favourite question?
"What are you doing in the drain?" - Nisha to Anne. That was classic. Wish I was there

4) Who/what will you remember from your high school?
I remember a pretty good number of everyone/things. Doesn't mean I want to though LOL.

5) Any memories you will not forget?
The fact I got out of school in the end hahaha.

Such an old hamster. It was about time anyway. It's rare enough to find one that lives up to 4 years. My sister took it really well while I teared up while cleaning him up and the cage up. He shall be buried tomorrow in the front garden to the tune of Amazing Grace by Sufjan Stevens

It's so unfair how life chooses a victim at random and deals them a bad card? Even if it's not you and you know someone close to you is going through a rough patch and you can only do so much to help? You can only extend a hand and offer some comforting words/phrases which may or may not be accepted by the said victim. It's just so shit to stand idly by and do nothing while you see someone you know so well go through such hell. I want to help. But I cannot do much.

Got Ink? by you.

Nisha (finally) got her tattoo :D It was all worth it in the end (cept she didn't cry so my hopes of catching a picture of her weeping were crushed haha. But it was all good. Turns out the guy (Benny) who did the tattoo's knew loads of LKW people too. He's tattooed most of my friends lol so that was amusing. Plus he had a cute little puppy running around the parlour so that was even more awesome.

After that, the three of us (Me, Nisha and Prakash) went for lunch at Maccas in Pyramid. Thinking we could get the half off all McValue Meals thinger, it turns out they only do it on weekdays. So that was lame. We talked about school and all that stuff. Bumped into a classmate while we were there. After that, we went home. What a way to spend Valentines Day. I had a date with 2 people at a tattoo parlour :D

DARKEN RAHL DOES NOT APPROVE!

Happy Birthday Nisha

As much as I am not a Titanic fan *gets hit by a shoe from fans*, the OST has been on repeat on my winamp tonight. One song is particular is Nearer my God, to Thee which is played in the last moments before the ship sank by the band on board. It's unbelievably heart-wrenching because I can sorta remember the scene vividly(with the captain, the mum and her children, the man and his wife on their bed as water gushes underneath) and have decided one of the saddest/horrific ways to go is knowing you're going to die on a slowly sinking ship. *goes somewhere to weep*

The Titanic sunk by lousy rivets. 14000 psi rubbed against the rivets, which made them break, which made water start pouring in the ship. It then took 2 hours for the ship to sink. It got 5 ice reports, yet the captain continued the voyage to America. 1 ice report did go through, and when the Titanic tried to get help, the ice person went to bed and didn't hear the emergency.

I've also decided, along with Gabriel by Lamb, I shall want this song played at my funeral. Note this down. *knocks on wood*

Drove Looi, the birthday girl (Nisha) and her boyfriend to Klang to Starbucks where Anne works and chilled there while we celebrated with cake and coffee. Drove them all home and had dinner and came home myself. So much driving. My butt is sore.

I must have been at missile training the day they taught me.

C'mon now. How cute is Henrique Hilario? Too cute to be a Chelsea player. LOL. If we ever have an opening down at Anfield, I'll make sure someone gives you a call *wink*

Batu Caves was awesome as usual. We left Shah Alam KTM station by 9AM and when we reached Sentul, we were stunned to find out that the special station to BC was only open the day after. Go figure. So with that, we caught a cab down to the caves. It wasn't as crowded as I imagined but I was very grateful for that. It was still early on in the day (friday) and small amounts of people were already getting into the Thaipusam vibe. We took pictures and walked down to Gombak River and managed to catch a small crowd of people who were in a trance. There was one particular guy in the group who stood out to me the most because he looked oddly familiar. I still can't put a finger on it but I'm sure I've seen him before. Then we followed them down to the caves again (can I say it was a little awkward being the only Chinese kid in the procession haha. But it's all good. I be goin back to my yeendian roots yo ;P

Then we took a bus from BC to Central Market. By now it was afternoon and the sun wasn't kind to us. Sweat poured down my cheeks and I mostly dressed in black. Obviously. Then we walked to the Pasar Seni LRT station and went back to KL central and then on another train and back home. I might be consider calling it Public Transport Day because I can't think of any other mode of city transport (aside from beca haha) that we didn't take that day.

So concludes Alison's summarised version of her first Thaipusam at Batu Caves :)

Why do we play Portsmouth at 1.35AM? It's insane. I haven't had sleep for 3 nights in a row now. Shite.

It started out as a feeling

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Gabriel Macht? No? Well I think I should.

One might recognise him from Behind Enemy Lines as the pilot Stackhouse. Or if you're a chick, maybe Because I Said So as Johnny Dresden. And his latest movie would obviously be The Spirit, which I haven't seen yet, so I'll be looking forward to that. :D

I wonder if it's available in Malaysia, if I can get one. Nisha's contemplating a tattoo for her 19th and I wondered if a tattoo on my 20th would be worth while. Maybe I should and maybe I shouldn't do it. Too much to think about. Such a wimp. But how amazing is that? I might just have to get one @___@

Anyway, research.

White ink tattoos do not follow the usual tattoo process of stenciling and outlining in black. Instead, the tattoo itself is completely done with white ink - leaving a ghostly image that looks quite different from a traditional tattoo. These tattoos can look like brands (or scarification), or they can appear to be very subtle - a good idea for someone who wants a tattoo but can't have something obvious in their work environment. The white ink used for white ink tattoos is not the same ink you might have seen used for mixing shades in a color tat - instead, it is a thicker, high quality white ink that is specially made to stand out on its own.

A stencil can be used with a white ink tat, or the tattoo can be done freehand. If a stencil is used, the artist must be careful to make sure that the ink from the stencil does not mix with the white ink being used - this can dull the brightness of the ink. Also, white tattoos can require several passes over the area to make sure that the white ink sinks fully into the skin. White is not as likely to be absorbed by skin as black or colored inks are.

White Ink Issues

While white ink tats are gaining in popularity, there are still some issues that need to be worked out with this type of tattoo. Many people (especially those of darker skin) can not "take" enough of the white ink for it to appear brightly on their skin. Some of these people may also find that they have a reaction to the white ink. This is much more common than a reaction to black tattoo ink. In some cases the white ink areas will swell and itch, and the white ink may ooze from the tattoo. This can be a sign of your skin actually rejecting the white ink, and you may end up with no tattoo in that area at all.

Another issue with white tattoos is that these tats are not ideal for areas of the body that will be in the sun and elements. White ink can turn quite dull if exposed to the sun frequently, so it's important to choose an area that will be covered when outdoors - such as your chest or back, or even the underside of your arm. White ink is not a good idea for hand tattoos or tats in other exposed places.

What sort of tattoo looks good in white ink? Well, one tattoo artist suggests only simple designs - these are easier for the artist to ink, and less likely to have complications. Small hearts, tribal designs and little Celtic patterns are all good ideas for white tats. One celebrity who has a white ink tattoo is Lindsay Lohan. She has a small white ink tat on the inside of her wrist that says "breathe". White colored tattoos such as these can be a good way to have a tattoo that's "just for you"... a personal mantra or important word or symbol as an affirmation that you don't want just anyone to be able to read.

Other famuz people to jump the white ink bandwagon are Kate Moss, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Khloe Kardashian (you know what's scary? I actually know which sister she is)

And some of the ones I've seen look really creepy. Eh, do it, don't do it, decisions, decisions.

I get so sick and tired by being shunned aside by those closest to me. It's probably not their fault but I wish a little appreciation would come my way. I had a theory that if I shut up long enough, they would come to me for whatever reason. Surely enough, that was partly true, but the moment I suggested something, a whole cascade of excuses and ignorance follows and I am sent reeling back down to where I started yet again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

What's the point? You try and you try to be a good friend/listener/shoulder to cry on and when you could use some yourself, no one is to be found. Frustration, frustration, frustration. Those who I know will listen are thousands of miles away yet those who I wish would barely even are around when they are close by. It's no one's fault but my own for being so dependent on approval and 'friendship'. Bullshit.

I wish the new semester would start soon. That way I can blame uni on every problem I have. It serves as a good distraction and that's probably what I need right now.

Purely FOOTEBALL.

Very pleased he's come back now. Couldn't have chosen a better game. However, I felt like the sending off of Lampard wasn't worth it. If anything, Xabi hit him if you think about it. And they both didn't go in with the intention to hurt the other player so Mike Riley made a stupid mistake there. Phil Scolari has a case against him. But yes, I am very proud of all the LFC players. That is how you play football. If they had just done it against Wigan + All the other shitty draws. I owe Fernando Torres big time for not really appreciating him. Also, how the hell did Reina make it ALL the way to Torres when they were celebrating? He must have flew there.

I'm sorry but you cannot look at that and not think "mental". He's gone and kicked Yossi and the BLIND linesman calls for a Chelsea free kick? Come on. WHAM! Although I thank Bosingwa for amusing me and Dad. I'm not making fun of anyone but it's just ridonkulous. If a Liverpool player had done it, I'd say the same thing.

credits to the people at RAWK who rawk.

Am so happy I managed to catch a little of Valencia's game against Almeria last night after Liverpool/Chelsea. I haven't seen this team live in a whole year since ... god knows. I noticed their new keeper. Cesar Sanchez right? From Spurs.

In more woeful news in Asuncion. Defensores del Chaco stadium collapsed, killing two riot squad officers during an Interleague Tournament football match. Eight officers fell some 10 meters along with the cement blocks that collapsed, taking the lives of two of them, during a match between Oviedo and Santani, which around 10,000 spectators had gone to watch. RIP.

"this looks so strange"

It's already February. Nothing smacks me harder in the face with pre-university return than the words "FEBRUARY". Loads of people have gone back to school/uni since but I still feel like I should be on holiday and that's just comical but true D: Why is I so lazee? lol.

Watched Underworld 3 two days ago with Kavi and Looi. I'm going to be very blunt and say the biggest reason for me to watch it was because of Craig Parker (Sabas) and Bill Nighy. Craig was brilliant as ever (even if he only played a ridiculously small role) and provided the lulz at some point of the movie. Plus he was all rawr in leather which I think was the selling point for most people lol. And don't think I've ever seen a British actor as versatile as Bill. Imagine him as a granddad? The amount of pwnage that'd be! I wouldn't mind if Bill or Sir Ian McKellen were my granddads I promised myself I wouldn't watch the other 2 Underworld movies because they could ruin it for me. Surely enough, they did. I watched Underworld at Anne's house yesterday and was put out when I saw technology/science/cars/guns. Also when I found out what happened to Lucian, I felt so cheated because I put so much hope into him in the 3rd movie. Bleh, and now I might need to go look up the 2nd one just so I'll know what happens. This is why I hate prequels ... they force people to find out what happened in the end. Plus I have something against Kate Beckinsale. I don't know what she did to me but I just do not like her. LOL. I think it was Van Helsing. >=(

Aside from all that, been watching Rush Hour 3 almost daily now because of the repeats on HBO. It would seem that I have synchronised myself to somehow always be in the middle of a rerun every time I watch HBO. I've had too much of it @___@ Oh, and I've seen Igor ;D John Cusack is love. Even if it's only his voice.

While most of society gear up for February's most famous occasion (starts with the letter V and ends with a E), I shall sit back and puke my guts out (as usual) watching couples do ... couple-y stuff. Mum and Dad might be doing something on V-day though I'm not too sure. I shall be standing by laughing at them though ... especially if Dad decides to break out the Carpenters and yelling "I know I need to be in love." as he did not too long ago while driving 2 hours to Port Dickson. Making fun of my parents mushy-ness amuses me more than watching Brangelina fight out cover wars with Obama/Michelle (how come there's no name for them yet?) Michama/Obachelle? They're hyping up their lives ridiculously, I don't think their names should be spared. Sasha and Malia dolls now? :D

Liverpool/Chelsea tonight. Booyeah. I have some hope left in the reds. Don't fail me now.

Got Valentine plans? I shan't laugh. I'm just interested.
